The journey began with the introduction of a revolutionary US product for solar reflection in Italy. Due to regulatory challenges, the company decided to develop its own, even more powerful coating in collaboration with Saarland University. The result was Thermatec Outside, a durable, breathable, and elastic coating that withstands extreme weather conditions.

The success in Italy was the starting point for further innovations. The product line was continuously expanded and soon included Outside, Inside, Roof and Betoncare to meet the diverse needs of building owners, engineers and property managers.

In 2013, a groundbreaking request came from the Italian road authority ANAS for a durable tunnel coating. This led to the development of Eridio Tunnel, a special tunnel paint with self-cleaning nano-titanium dioxide technology. Subsequently, Hytecco products were used in tunnels in Italy and Switzerland.

In 2014, the company launched a series of photocatalytic coatings under the name LONOX , which were not only self-cleaning but also actively contributed to the reduction of nitrogen oxides in urban areas. Field trials in Stuttgart, Bonn, and Hamburg confirmed the effectiveness of the technology.

At the same time, Hytecco established itself as a manufacturer for third-party companies operating under their own labels. The company's expertise today encompasses epoxy resin, polyurethane, and polyurea coatings, particularly in the areas of underground parking garage renovation, floor coatings, and concrete repair.

Since 2018, Hytecco has been collaborating with ITA Technologietransfer GmbH on research into photocatalytic materials and fibers. The development of textile facades that contribute to the reduction of nitrogen oxides marked another milestone. In 2020, the company relocated to Zug, Switzerland, where it has been based ever since.

Another significant breakthrough came in 2024 with the development of Kryoma, an innovative coating that enables highly effective heat and cold insulation through extremely thin layers. This groundbreaking technology promises to revolutionize the insulation industry.

Today, Hytecco products are in use in numerous countries worldwide, including Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, China, Chile, France, Spain, Tunisia, Abu Dhabi, Libya and South Africa.

In the area of ​​renovation and waterproofing, we cooperate with around 40 partners, ranging from private building owners to large property management companies. Our specialized team of approximately 50 professionals uses state-of-the-art technologies for the renovation of underground garages, parking decks, and concrete structures .
